My story

From Catania to students worldwide

Hello! My name is Marcella and I'm Italian. If you're looking for a teacher who will teach you real Italian, you're in the right place. We'll begin with a simple buongiorno, and you'll end up managing everyday life in Italy with complete autonomy. 😉

After graduating in Languages, I moved to Spain, England and the Netherlands, where I taught Italian and Spanish to students from all over the world. The pandemic was my turning point: I switched completely to online teaching and realised this approach lets me connect even better with my students.

Today I have over six years of online experience, and after every lesson I give you regular feedback on your learning and progress.

My approach

How I teach

My greatest strength is helping others feel confident speaking a second language. Most of the time, that confidence is already there, we just haven't broken out of our shell.

That's where I come in: guiding students to reach their full potential by helping them build confidence, improve pronunciation, become more consistent, develop fluency, and prepare for language exams.

My experience living and working abroad in Spain, England, the Netherlands, and Italy has significantly enriched my teaching, giving me valuable insight into different cultures and learning styles, and allowing me to connect more effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
